💊 Norethisterone tablets are commonly used to delay a period by maintaining hormone levels. If suitable, your prescriber will explain how to take it safely.

📅 Usually started around 3 days before your period is due

💊 Often taken three times daily (your prescriber will confirm your regimen)

⏱️ Your period usually returns 2–3 days after stopping

Is it suitable for me?

You may be suitable for this service if you:

🎂 Are 18 years of age or over

🤰 Are not pregnant or breastfeeding

🩺 Have no history of blood clots or other conditions that would make treatment unsuitable

⚠️ This service may not be suitable if you have a history of thrombosis/blood clots, certain migraines, liver disease, unexplained vaginal bleeding, or if you take interacting medicines.
